“Talk
is cheap.” Consider a sports team that developed a well conceived game plan prior to their weekend contest. The plan was executed with a high level of energy and their successes continued to mount—momentum was clearly on their side. Does this team need to take a time-out to redesign their initial approach to the game and question their level of passion? They have proved to be successful. They now need to maintain their focus and energies on what is working, and on any possible scenarios that might slow their progress. What might possibly slow the momentum they have developed? Efforts need to be concentrated on friction/resistance reduction. Rather than a continual clarification of identified convictions and the release of energy to place these convictions in motion, the central focus of effort becomes the reduction and removal of resistance. Take a few minutes to review your life plan, the establishment of momentum in your life toward conviction-driven goals. The following summary will help identify sources of resistance, either in your environment or in your interior life.
